He later became the Vice President in charge of Commercial Real Estate at Graham Mortgage Corporation.
Jerry is credited with providing start-up capital to several major Dallas real estate-related firms, showcasing his impact on the industry. After retiring to Fort Collins, Colorado, he established The Donahue Mortgage Company, which he operated until its closure in 2019 due to health issues.

She continued her education at Texas State University, where she earned a BS in Medical Technology, leading to a career at various hospitals as a lab supervisor and consultant.
