Liberty Hill – A new phase of homes is set to launch in the Lariat community, located in a 706-acre master-planned area in Liberty Hill, northwest of Austin. This expansion reflects the growing demand for housing in the region, with 579 homes planned to be constructed by several builders, including Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Coventry Homes, CastleRock Communities, and TriPointe Homes.

Home prices in this second phase will range from $400,000 to $1 million, catering to a diverse range of potential homeowners. Lariat is conveniently situated approximately 36 miles from downtown Austin, accessible via Texas 29 and west of U.S. 183 in Williamson County.

The Lariat community first opened its doors in October 2021 and has since seen significant development. Currently, there are 444 completed homes, with an additional 91 homes under construction. The ongoing project aims to meet the needs of the community, with 310 homeowners already settled.

Phase two model homes are now available for tours, offering prospective buyers a glimpse of what to expect from this new phase. The homes will feature both one- and two-story floor plans, ranging in size from 1,400 square feet to 4,200 square feet. Key features include flexible living spaces, outdoor entertaining areas, first-floor master bedrooms, and customizable design options to suit individual preferences.

In addition to the new housing opportunities, Lariat offers a variety of community amenities designed to foster a vibrant neighborhood. Residents will have access to a resort-style pool, splash pad, playground, pavilion, event lawn for community gatherings, and programming such as farmers markets. Other amenities include extensive trails for walking and biking, a fishing pond with a dock, a sports court, and an enclosed dog park.

Furthermore, a new elementary school is currently under construction in the vicinity, which will further enrich the community’s appeal to families. The area is characterized by its impressive growth and development, as families increasingly seek a “back-to-basics” lifestyle that Lariat aims to provide.

As the housing market continues to thrive in Liberty Hill, this new phase in the Lariat community reflects the area’s deepening commitment to accommodating the needs of an expanding population while fostering a community-oriented environment.
